About the event
Event Overview
The 52nd Men’s & 44th Women’s Senior National Powerlifting Championship (Equipped) will be held for the first time in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, bringing together 500+ powerlifters from around 28 states and national organizations, including Railways, Army, and Police.
The championship will take place from 29 August to 3 September 2026 at Kanha Haveli, Mahua Bagh, Ghazipur. The event will feature top athletes competing in powerlifting, with the performances also contributing to the selection of the Strongman of India and Strongwoman of India.
More than 100 officials, referees, coaches, and sports representatives are expected to attend, with several nationally recognized award-winning athletes and sports personalities likely to be present.
